I need special tools for the rebar

There are a lot more uses for rebar rods and wire ties than you think.

Most people never give a second thought to construction.

If something needs to be built, you call in an expert. That is fine for people with money, but I never had much of that. If I needed something fixed, I had to fix it myself. If something needed to be built, then I did that too. I tried to make the most with the “found materials” I could get for free. Thanks to a very generous neighbor with a bad back, I was gifted several hundred pounds worth of rebar rods, and a giant wooden crate filled with wire ties and bar ties. I knew there was something I could use all this stuff for, but I wasn’t sure what so I moved all the rebar and wire ties back to my garage until I could figure it out. That was easier said than done! I had never before worked with rebar rods, or any of the various kinds of wire ties I was given. It is all ridiculously heavy and hard to move, so it took a couple of days to get all the rebar rods and wire ties back to my place. From there I simply had to determine what I could use them for, and how I could manipulate the rebar rods into the right shape before fastening them with the wire ties. Ity turns out that working with rebar rods and wire ties requires having speciality tools, which I do not have.
